How does camping on the hustle and bustle of the city sound like?
Would you like to learn how to set up a tent and use a Trangia?
Come hang out at Kupittaa park and get to know APK and meet new and old APK members!
The evening will be spent in chill atmosphere and by spending time together. The event is free and open to everyone. There will be a possibility to cook food with trangias and practice putting up a tent. Simultaneously you will get to see the gear APK rents out.
We will gather at Kupitta park at 18 o’clock. You can come for a short visit during the evening or stay the whole night. For those who wish the event will continue until the next morning because there is an opportunity to camp in the park. There are limited number or tents, sleeping bags and mattresses and Trangias so please, bring your own if you have one. The gear will be borrowed at first come, first served policy.
APK will reserve something small to eat for those how have signed up for the event. Please, bring your own food if you would like to cook with a Trangia. Dress for the weather.

What to bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Cutlery (a mug, a plate, a fork/a spoon)
- Seat cover
- Tent (if you own one)
- Trangia (if you own one)
- For the once staying overnight a sleeping bag and a sleeping mattress
- An outdoor game (optional)
We will follow the principles for safer space at the event. The event is substance-free.
